Biography

True story. Dylan Saunders is a Los Angeles-based, San Francisco-raised, Ann Arbor-educated, Chicago-humbled, and YouTube-cultured actor and singer.

After graduating from the University of Michigan, Dylan co-founded Starkid, the digital new media company that captured the attention of Entertainment Weekly and NPR in its inaugural season, before going on to produce dozens of original comedy series and concerts throughout the U.S., Canada and Europe, original Billboard and iTunes-charting musical albums, and shows at venues ranging from The Second City in Chicago, to Roseland Ballroom in New York, to the House of Blues in Hollywood. Since its founding in 2009, Starkid has amassed over 290 million views worldwide.

Dylan’s television credits include recurring and guest appearances on long-running series for AMC, NBC, and ABC, as well as theatrical productions across the U.S., including several world premieres, and the revival of The Steward of Christendom opposite two-time Tony-winner Brian Dennehy at Center Theatre Group’s Mark Taper Forum.

Dylan's voiceover credits span animation and commercial clients including Disney, Nickelodeon, Fox, ABC, Sears, and Arco, as well as multiple leading and supporting roles in video games, narrative podcasts, audiobooks, motion capture, and film work for Oscar-winning director Marshall Curry.

As a singer-songwriter, Dylan has performed headlining and backup vocals for several international Live Nation concert tours with both pop and hip hop acts. His independently produced record, Confluence, debuted on the iTunes Pop Chart at No. 20.
